Nippon Chemi-Con Developed LE Series Lead-Type Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors Guaranteeing 10,000 Hours Operation at 105℃
Nippon Chemi-Con Corporation has developed the LE series of Lead-Type Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors that are ideally suited to use in LED lighting equipment.
The increasing use of LEDs as a light source is helping to lower power consumption and increase the life of lighting equipment. This is leading to demands for aluminum electrolytic capacitors, which are constituent components of lighting equipment, to achieve a longer life under high-temperature conditions.
To satisfy these demands, the LE series uses a liquid electrolyte that has superior stability at high temperatures and a rubber bung with physical properties that realize minimal deterioration. This guarantees an operational lifetime of 10,000 hours at 105℃, which is 10 times the durability of conventional products, contributing to the longer operating life of lighting equipment.
Mass Production Schedule
Mass production of the LE series was started in June 2012.
Production is being handled by P.T. INDONESIA CHEMI-CON (Nippon Chemi-Con subsidiary).
