Nippon Chemi-Con Developed KXF Series Radial Lead Type Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors Guaranteeing 20,000 Hours at 105℃
Nippon Chemi-Con has developed high withstand voltage Radial Lead Type Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors KXF Series for LED lighting which requires low power and long life.
Due to the downsizing and longer life of LED lighting in the market, the life of capacitors guaranteeing 12,000 hours at 105℃ shortfalls the designed life of the equipment. Therefore, an even longer life is desired.
In response to this demand, Nippon Chemi-Con has developed and commercialized the KXF Series.
The Series is available in a rated voltage range of 160 to 450V and guarantees 20,000 hours at 105℃.
In development, aluminum electrode foil with a long life and excellent reliability was adopted and sealing rubber with excellent airtightness was used to further extend the lifetime.
[Samples and Mass Production]
The KXF Series was available as samples from September 2015, and mass production started in January 2016.
