Nippon Chemi-Con has expanded its product lineup with the addition of the KVJ Series to its metal cap type Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors


Nippon Chemi-Con has SMD type, radial lead type, and Metal Cap Type Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors, used in automotive and industrial equipment. 


In recent years, there has been a growing demand for high-temperature reliability, particularly in automotive applications. To respond to this demand, Nippon Chemi-Con commercialized the SMD type KVF Series and radial lead type KVD Series with an enhanced heat resistance of 150℃ as high-temperature compatible products that meet the automotive parts standard AEC-Q200. 


Furthermore, Nippon Chemi-Con has decided to add a 150℃ compatible product to Nippon Chemi-Con lineup of metal cap type products that can be used for large-capacitance applications by stacking capacitor elements. As a result, the product can be applied to a wide range of applications. For example, the mounting area can be reduced in the power electronics field where high capacitance is frequently required. 


In the automotive field, Nippon Chemi-Con proposes this Series as the optimum product for equipment in engine rooms and equipment adjacent to exhaust gas. In the industrial equipment field, Nippon Chemi-Con proposes the Series for boiler and gas combustion equipment. The KVJ Series is also compliant with AEC-Q 200. 


Technical Features

Nippon Chemi-Con has achieved both high capacitance and high reliability by adopting a proprietary dielectric material that can withstand use in high-temperature environments, and by reviewing product design and manufacturing processes. 


By internally manufacturing a metal cap joining and assembly system, Nippon Chemi-Con has realized a production line that achieves both efficient production and high-quality control.
