Nippon Chemi-Con has developed SMD-type Conductive Polymer Aluminum Solid Capacitors PNA Series. The Series realizes high heat resistance, high moisture resistance, and longer life.
The communications market is rapidly growing due to the start of 5G services in various countries. 5G base stations need to place many small base stations called small cells to handle high-speed/high-capacity information. As small cells are mainly placed outdoors, capacitors used in these cells are required to operate under a wide temperature range or in high-moisture environments. Nippon Chemi-Con's newly developed PNA Series contributes to weather resistance improvement and is maintenance-free for communication base stations by guaranteeing a long life of 12,000 hours at 125℃ and 1,000 hours at 85℃85%RH, both of which are the highest level in the industry.
