Nippon Chemi-Con Developed NTJ Series Metal Cap Type Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors with 15µF and 22µF Maximum Capacitance
Nippon Chemi-Con has expanded its lineup of 100V rated voltage products of Metal Cap Type Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors NTJ Series size 55 (6.0x5.3x5.5mm). The capacitance has been increased from a maximum of 10µF to 15µF and 22µF.
The NTJ Series are products with improved resistance to substrate bending by fixing two elements together with a metal cap. The product lineup includes 25 to 250V-rated voltage products that are widely used in industrial equipment, power supplies, and information and communications applications.
Nippon Chemi-Con decided to add high-capacitance products to the NTJ Series due to the increase in demand for capacitance expansion in these applications.
In development, Nippon Chemi-Con adopted Nippon Chemi-Con's proprietary dielectric materials and also developed a new manufacturing process.

Production
Mass production has already started at the Nagai Plant of Chemi-Con Yamagata
Corp. (a wholly owned subsidiary of Nippon Chemi-Con) since April 2020.
