Nippon Chemi-Con Added NTJ Series Metal Cap Type Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors with 50V Rated Voltage and Capacitance Expansion
Nippon Chemi-Con makes an addition to the conventional metal cap type Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors NTJ Series. The Series product lineup was expanded by adding a 50V rated voltage product of the same size with a capacitance increased to 33µF from 22µF.
The NTJ Series are products with improved resistance to substrate bending by fixing two elements together with a metal cap. Nippon Chemi-Con has a lineup of products with a rated voltage of 25V to 250V, widely used in industrial equipment, power supplies, and information and communications applications.
However, in recent years, there is a growing demand for the increased capacitance of capacitors in such applications. The added large-capacitance products were offered to meet those needs.
Technical Features
To increase the capacitance, Nippon Chemi-Con adopted their proprietary dielectric material and
developed a new manufacturing process.

Production
Mass production started at the Nagai Plant of Chemi-Con Yamagata Corp. (a
wholly-owned subsidiary of Nippon Chemi-Con) in May 2019.
