Nippon Chemi-Con has developed Conductive Polymer Hybrid Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors HXE Series. The Series has a high heat resistance and high ripple current and is an upgraded version of the HXC Series. The HXC Series was commercialized for the automotive electronics and industrial equipment markets where high reliability is required.

Nippon Chemi-Con has achieved high heat resistance and high ripple current while maintaining the capacitance of the HXC Series (guarantees 4,000 hours at 125℃, 2,000 hours at 85℃ 85%RH). The Series further contribute to the downsizing and life extension of units.

Conductive polymer hybrid aluminum electrolytic capacitors have realized high withstand voltage products with low ESR and high reliability by adopting conductive polymer and liquid electrolyte for the electrolyte. By using these materials as electrolyte, low ESR and excellent heat resistance can be achieved from the conductive polymer. Furthermore, oxide film repairability is realized from the electrolyte.

In the development of the HXE Series, Nippon Chemi-Con has achieved higher heat resistance and higher ripple current than conventional products by adopting a low-ESR technology using conductive polymer materials, as well as an electrolyte that is more stable in the high-temperature range and has better compatibility with conductive polymer materials.
