SLKOR SL1623SH Hall Switch Sensor with a Reverse Power Supply Voltage of -0.3V and Operating Voltage up to 6V
SL1623SH is a low-power Hall switch sensor chip in the SL1623 series, while SL1623 is a low-power Hall switch sensor chip designed specifically for space-constrained systems and battery-sensitive systems. The chip has multiple magnetic field threshold values, switch operating frequencies, and packaging forms to meet various application requirements. See the figure below:
SL1623SH is a Hall switch sensor chip in the SL1623 series, inheriting the excellent characteristics of the SL1623 series while having its unique features and functions. The sensor chip has three pins for power supply input, output, and ground. Its switch output characteristics are particularly suitable for applications that require sensitivity to magnetic field changes.
The working principle of SL1623SH is based on the flow of magnetic induction lines inside the chip. When the south pole of a magnet approaches the top of the chip, the magnetic induction lines pass from the bottom to the top of the chip, indicating a positive magnetic induction strength B. On the other hand, when the north pole of a magnet approaches the top of the chip, the magnetic induction lines pass from the top to the bottom of the chip, indicating a negative magnetic induction strength B. This bidirectional sensing feature allows the sensor to accurately detect changes in the magnetic field and output corresponding signals.
In addition to its sensitive magnetic induction characteristics, SL1623SH also has high electrical performance. It has a wide range of operating voltage, up to 6V, and a reverse power supply voltage of -0.3V. The output drive current can reach up to 5mA, while the magnetic induction strength has no upper limit. In addition, the sensor chip has a wide operating temperature range, stable in environments ranging from -50℃ to +150℃, and has excellent human body model ESD capability, up to 8000V. The other parameters of SL1623SH are as follows:
●Polarity: single N pole
●VDD(V): 5.5V
●IDD(μA): 3.3μA
●Scanning frequency: 5Hz
●Package: SOT-23

In practical applications, SL1623SH can be widely used in various scenarios that require magnetic field detection and switch control, such as magnetic field sensors, proximity switches, position detection, and more. Its excellent characteristics and reliable performance make it promising for applications in industrial control, automotive electronics, smart homes, medical devices, and other fields.
In addition to SL1623SH, SLKOR offers many high-performance and excellent Hall sensor products, such as SLSS360-3, SLSS49E-3, SL-322B, SLOH49E-9, SLSS451A-9, SL1603SH, SLSS41F-9, and more. These sensors can meet the market's demand for low-power, high-performance sensors. SLKOR will continue to promote innovation and development in electronic products.
