SLKOR Hall Effect Sensor SL1603SH with only 3.3μA of Current Consumption for Civil Fields and Electronic Products
The SL1603 is a low-power Hall effect switch sensor designed specifically for space-constrained systems and battery-sensitive applications. This chip is equipped with multiple magnetic field thresholds, switch operating frequencies, and packaging options to accommodate various application requirements. Refer to the image below:
Fig.2
The SL1603SH is a high-sensitivity, full-polarity Hall effect switch sensor and is one of the models in the SL1603 series. When it encounters a magnetic flux density of either the S pole or the N pole that exceeds the operating point (Bop), this sensor will output a low-level signal and maintain that state. Only when the magnetic flux density falls below the release point (Bep) will the sensor output signal switch to a high level. The SL1603SH has a built-in temperature compensation circuit and clock logic circuit to ensure stable operation of the sensor and maintain the appropriate switching frequency, as shown in the diagram. This sensor is widely used in civil fields and electronic products.
The SL1603SH has full-polarity sensitivity, allowing it to accurately detect and respond to changes in magnetic fields. It is widely used in various magnetic field detection and control systems. Additionally, it features low power supply voltage and current consumption. It can operate normally with a power supply voltage of 6V and requires only 3.3μA of current consumption. This makes the SL1603SH suitable for portable devices such as smartphones, tablets, and smartwatches, where battery life and power management are critical.
Furthermore, the SL1603SH has a low scanning frequency. With a scanning frequency of 5Hz, it can quickly complete a detection operation and provide timely feedback to the system. This fast response capability is suitable for applications that require quick responses, such as high-speed motion control and position detection. The SL1603SH is packaged in a SOT-23 package, which offers good mechanical strength and temperature resistance while complying with RoHS environmental standards.
The SL1603SH is widely used in the civil field for applications such as water meters, and gas meters, as well as electronic products like laptops, tablets, headphones, and smartphones. In the civil field, such as in metering devices like water meters and gas meters, the application of the SL1603SH sensor enables accurate measurement functionality. The sensor can sense changes in magnetic fields and convert them into corresponding electrical signals. By integrating the Hall sensor with the measuring device, it is possible to accurately detect the intensity and velocity of water flow or airflow, enabling metering and monitoring of water meters and gas meters. For mobile devices like headphones and smartphones, the sensor can be used to detect whether headphones are plugged in, enabling automatic switching of audio output modes. The SL1603 sensor offers various magnetic field thresholds, switch operating frequencies, and packaging options to meet the requirements of different devices and applications.
In addition to the SL1603SH, SLKOR offers many high-performance and excellent Hall sensor products, such as SLSS360-3, SLSS49E-3, SL-322B, SLOH49E-9, SLSS451A-9, SL1623SH, SLSS41F-9, and more. These sensors can meet the market's demand for low power consumption and high-performance sensors. SLKOR is committed to driving innovation and development in electronic products.
