The Hall Sensor is a type of sensor that operates based on the Hall effect principle. The Hall effect refers to the generation of an electric field, known as the Hall electric field, perpendicular to the direction of current flow in a conductive material when current passes through it. By utilizing the Hall effect, it is possible to measure magnetic field strength, detect the position and speed of objects, and more. Hall sensors typically consist of Hall elements, signal conditioning circuits, and output interfaces. The Hall element is the core part of the sensor, being a semiconductor material with a specific structure inside the sensor that makes it sensitive to external magnetic fields. When a magnetic field acts on the Hall element, it causes a change in the Hall voltage. The signal conditioning circuit is responsible for amplifying, filtering, and processing the Hall voltage to obtain usable output signals. The output interface converts the processed signals into digital or analog signals for use by other circuits or devices. The sensor to be introduced today is the SLKOR Hall sensor SL1605TL.

The SL1605 series Hall sensors from SLKOR are important sensor products widely used in various fields. Among this series, the SL1605TL stands out with its unique performance parameters and broad application prospects. The SL1605 series includes four products: SL1605TH, SL1605TL, SL1605SH, and SL1605SL. These products have some differences in magnetic field threshold and switch frequency. The magnetic field threshold for SL1605TH and SL1605SH is 46 Gauss, with a switch frequency of 20Hz, while SL1605TL and SL1605SL have a magnetic field threshold of 33 Gauss and a switch frequency of 5Hz. These variations in performance parameters make these products more suitable for different application scenarios. As the focal point of this article, the SL1605TL is packaged in SOT-23, has 3 pins, operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, with a magnetic field threshold of 33 Gauss, and a switching frequency of 20Hz.
The SL1605TL Hall sensor adopts a full-pole design, which is characterized by its full-pole magnetic response. It has good sensitivity to both positive and negative magnetic fields, enabling it to detect magnetic field changes in any direction. At the same time, the 20Hz frequency ensures the sensor's fast response to magnetic field changes, allowing it to monitor magnetic field conditions in real-time and make timely adjustments. It supports a working voltage range of 5.5V, making it adaptable to different power supply systems and capable of functioning properly under a wide range of voltage conditions. In electronic devices and systems, low power consumption is a key factor. The SL1605TL Hall sensor consumes an extremely low current of only 3.3μA (IDD - operating current), thereby extending the device's battery life and improving energy utilization efficiency.
In addition to the SL1605TL, SLKOR also offers many high-performance and excellent Hall sensor products, such as SL1603TH, SLSS341R-3, SLSS39E-9, SL1613SL, SL1625SH, SL1615SH, SL-106C, and more. These sensors can meet the market's demand for low-power and high-performance sensors. SLKOR is committed to driving innovation and development in electronic products.
