SLKOR SL1613SL: High-performance Hall Sensor in SOT-23 Packaging with Three Pins and Operating at a Voltage of 5.5V
The SLKOR SL1613 is a high-performance, low-power Hall switch Sensor. Its operating principle is very simple. When the applied S-pole magnetic induction exceeds the operating point, Boe, the chip outputs a low level and maintains it until the S-pole magnetic induction falls below the release point BRp, at which point the chip outputs a high level. In addition, the SL1613 also features built-in temperature compensation and clock logic circuits to ensure stable operating points and switching frequencies. This allows the SL1613 to provide single S-pole magnetic response with extremely low current consumption. The SLKOR semiconductor's Hall sensor product, SL1613SL, is one model in the SL1613 series. The SL1613 series includes four products: SL1613TH, SL1613TL, SL1613SH, and SL1613SL. They all come in SOT-23 packaging with three pins, and their operating temperature ranges from -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius.
Fig.2 The product diagram of SLKOR Hall sensor SL1613SL
The main differences among the SL1613 series products lie in the magnetic field threshold and the switching frequency. Both SL1613TH and SL1613SH have a magnetic field threshold of 46 Gauss, while SL1613TL and SL1613SL have a magnetic field threshold of 33 Gauss. Additionally, SL1613TH and SL1613TL have a switching frequency of 20Hz, while SL1613SH and SL1613SL have a switching frequency of 5 Hz.
The SL1613SL has a magnetic field threshold of 33 Gauss, which means that when the applied magnetic induction exceeds 33 Gauss, the sensor will output a low-level signal. When the magnetic induction falls below 33 Gauss, the sensor will output a high-level signal, thereby achieving the switching function. This sensitive magnetic field detection capability makes the SL1613SL highly suitable for applications that require precise measurement of magnetic field changes. Furthermore, the SL1613SL has a switching frequency of 5 Hz, which means it can perform 5 switching operations per unit time. This switching frequency is suitable for applications that do not require high response speeds, such as battery monitoring systems and space-constrained systems.

As one of the SL1613 series, the SL1613SL also features a single S-pole polarity. It operates at a voltage of 5.5V and consumes only 3.3μA of current. Compared to other sensor products, the low power design of the SL1613SL enables energy savings and extends battery life in applications that require long-term operation. With its outstanding performance, this Hall sensor finds wide application in various scenarios:
Inverter Current Monitoring: In inverters, the SL1613SL can be used to measure current, aiding in monitoring, controlling, and protecting the operation status of the inverter.
Battery Load Detection System: In battery systems, the SL1613SL can be used to detect load current, facilitating real-time monitoring of the battery's operational status and capacity.
Current Transformers: The SL1613SL can be used in conjunction with current transformers to measure current in power systems.
Overload Protection Devices: It can be employed in overload protection devices to sense excessive currents and trigger protective measures.
Motor Phase Current Detection: The SL1613SL can be utilized for detecting phase currents in motors.
These are just a few examples of the wide range of applications where the SL1613SL can be employed due to its exceptional performance.
