Overview
SUNLORD MWPU series power inductors with magnetic shielded and small size have been mass-produced. MWPU series uses high permeability, high Bs, low loss materials, precision winding and full magnetic shield coating process, to achieve small size, high saturation current, high anti-interference ability. The size range covers 1.0x0.5(mm)~1.6x0.8(mm), widely used in smart wearable devices, small portable medical equipment and so on.


Background
At present, due to space limitations and the influence of strong magnetic fields, smart wearable devices such as TWS earphones and watches are paying more and more attention to magnetic field interference. In order to increase the anti-EMI capability of the inductor and reduce the magnetic field interference to the other devices, Sunlord has developed MWPU series inductors with full magnetic shields that use the full coating process to improve the EMC characteristics of the product.

Product Advantages

Precision winding, magnetic shielded

MWPU series adds a secondary dispensing process to fully coat the coil, avoiding the risk of magnetic field line leakage and improving EMC characteristics.


High Bs, low loss material, improving the battery life of wearable devices

For smart wearable devices such as TWS earphones, in addition to noise and small size, battery life has always been concerned by manufacturers. Therefore, MWPU series use high Bs, low loss alloy material, to improve saturation current, and to reduce DCR and ACR, so as to enhance battery endurance capability.


Higher saturation current compared with the MWPH series

With the same size and inductance, 1.6x0.8mm with 2.2/4.7/10μH as an example, the saturation current of MWPU series is more than 12% higher than MWPH series, and the saturation current of MWPU1608A series is more than 2 times higher.
