Overview
SUNLORD high-current ferrite beads MZPA series is based on Sunlord's mature lamination platform, through self-developed ferrite powder, innovative internal electrode structure, and strict production quality control standard, it achieves a withstand current up to 10A, RDC as low as 0.05ohm or less, and excellent low THD+N performance, has been popularized and used in all kinds of Class-D amplifier design audio equipment and high-current lines with GaN MOS tube, and has won unanimous praise from customers.
Background
As one of the commonly used devices in EMI filters, ferrite beads have a powerful effect on the suppression of high-frequency noise, and their use is simple and low cost, which is an efficient component for many engineers to solve EMC problems. Sunlord Electronics has many years of experience in developing chip beads, the MZPA series released in this paper is based on the traditional use of ferrite beads in the audio line will appear sound quality distortion problem, in order to solve this pain point, Sunlord self-developed high-performance ferrite powder, improve the ferrite saturation characteristics of the product, thereby improving the total harmonic distortion + noise (THD+N) of the line to ensure the integrity of the audio signal. In addition, by responding to the needs of GaN chip customers, the inner electrode structure with strong current capacity is designed, so that the product has excellent current characteristics and very low DC resistance (RDC), when used in the GaN fast charging source scheme, the voltage loss is smaller and the output efficiency is higher.
