How to Identify whether a Patch Fuse is Original or not?
Attention should be paid when purchasing SMD fuses. If the fuse is not original and has undergone secondary processing or multiple uses, the quality of the fuse is not guaranteed, and problems may occur during use. The original SMD fuse, as long as it is a qualified product, can timely disconnect the circuit in case of overload and short circuit, protecting the product from damage. So how do I know if the purchased SMD fuse is original?
1. Is the packaging of the SMD fuse intact
Generally, fuse manufacturers have markings (markings, numbers, etc.) on the packaging of fuses. The packaging materials and methods must comply with standard regulations, and the internal and external packaging of the product must be firm, complete, dry, and clean. If the import and export trade contract complies with the packaging materials, packaging methods, and padding requirements, it must also comply with the contract provisions. After receiving the patch fuse, it is necessary to check whether the packaging is damaged and the degree of damage, as well as whether the quantity and specifications of the product are correct.
2. Are there any traces of used patch fuses
If a patch fuse has been used, some traces can be found, such as scratches on the fuse, deformation, or breakage of the fuse. If so, it is necessary to carefully check whether the fuse was caused during transportation or if it was used before.
By learning to distinguish fuses, one can determine whether they are original. Finally, selecting a suitable and original fuse to install in the circuit can effectively protect electrical products and improve electrical safety. If you accidentally purchase an original fuse product with quality issues, you must contact the manufacturer for replacement or return to protect your rights.
