How to choose the rated voltage and current of a patch fuse: The rated voltage of a patch fuse depends on the current flowing through it, and is not related to the working voltage of the circuit. From the perspective of safe use, the rated voltage of SMD fuse is proposed, which is the highest working voltage of the circuit when the SMD fuse is in a safe working state. This means that fuses can only be placed in circuits with a working voltage less than or equal to the rated voltage of the fuse. Only in this way can the fuse operate safely and effectively.

The voltage drop at both ends of the patch fuse is very small, much lower than the rated voltage of the patch fuse. Therefore, during normal operation, the rated voltage has no practical significance. The true significance of the rated voltage of patch fuses lies in their safety performance. Chip fuse, as a safety component, must be relatively safe during normal operation, protective action, and any period after melting. The rated voltage of the patch fuse plays an important role during and after the fusion process. The rated current of a patch fuse is a nominal specification, which specifies the current flow through the fuse and the fusing time in the product standard. Different standards also have different regulations. Even if the current flowing through the fuse eXCeeds its rated current and does not exceed the normal current, the fuse should not blow. The voltage is relatively simple and larger than the relatively large working voltage. For current, the general selection standard is about 1.5 times the working current, and the range is harmless because patch fuses are short-circuit overload protection, which works in this situation.
