Therefore, self recovering fuses have parameters such as withstand voltage, withstand current, maintain current, and action time. Therefore, it is necessary to choose a suitable self recovery fuse based on the voltage, current, and protection current of the product used.
The selection method for selecting self recovering fuses is as follows:
1. determine the maximum ambient temperature, operating current, maximum operating voltage, required protection current, and action time parameters for the protected circuit to operate normally.
2. Choose the appropriate self recovery fuse or patch fuse based on the characteristics of the protected circuit or product.
3. Select a product series with a withstand voltage level greater than or equal to the maximum working voltage based on the maximum working voltage.
4. Based on the maximum operating temperature of the circuit and the operating current in the circuit, select the product specification that is suitable for maintaining the current by comparing the temperature reduction rate of the self recovery fuse.
5. Confirm whether the selected product meets the required action protection time based on the action time curve of the self recovery fuse of this model.
6. Compare the data provided in the specification sheet to confirm that the size of the self recovery fuse of this specification meets the requirements.
