SUNLORD SDNT0402 series of thermistors with high precision and miniaturization design is now in mass production. Mini Size SDNT Multilayer NTC Thermistor SDNT0402 series uses Sunlord’s self-developed NTC ceramic powder and fine inner electrode structure design to achieve NTC thermistors with high precision, high reliability, high surface density, and smaller product size so that engineers can achieve more detailed control when designing product circuits.


Background

Nowadays, all kinds of mobile electronic equipment are often in a state of continuous use, the internal battery& IC continues to generate heat, and continuous exposure to a high-temperature environment will affect the service life of the battery& IC. Engineers could utilize NTC thermistors for voltage division of the circuit and cooperate with the control chip to monitor the temperature to protect the critical parts of the circuit from overheating. Compared with the 0603 packages, the small size 0402 package has a volume reduction of about 78% and the board area reduction of about 56%. The small size of the 0402 packages also makes NTC thermistors more easily and flexibly arranged on limited-space PCB boards in increasingly miniaturized electronic devices such as TWS headphones, smartwatches, and bracelets. With rich NTC thermistor design experience and an advanced laminated manufacturing platform, Sunlord has developed the SDNT0402 series thermistors with small size, high precision, and high reliability to meet diversified circuit design needs.
