PCI Express Demos for the ECP5 and ECP5-5G Versa Development Board User Guide
■This guide describe show to start using the ECP5™ Versa Development Board and the ECP5-5G™ Development Board low-cost platforms for demon strating the PCI Express reference design and for evaluating solutions for your own specific application. The PCI Express reference design for the ECP5 Versa Development board utilizes the Lattice PCIE_core PCI Express End point soft IP core,while the design for the ECP5-5G Versa Development board utilizes the Lattice PCIE2_core PCI Express End point soft IP core optimized for ECP5UM5G devices and 5.0 Gbps maximum transfer rate.
■This guide familiarizes you with the process of setting up your PCI Express development environment. This document assumes that you do not have any associated tools installed on your system.
■The demos discussed in this document include the PCI Express Basic Demo,PCI Express Through put Demo,and PCI Express Scatter-Gather DMA Demos(EBR).
