Cmsemicon Launches Two Dedicated Motor Control SoCs for Low-Voltage Fan and Pump Motors and Vacuum Cleaners
Following the release of the cost-effective CMS32M6510 for compact-class motor applications, Cmsemicon continues to expand its motor control portfolio and recently launched its Motor Control SoCs - CMS32M6526x and CMS32M6534x.
The two SoCs are designed for compact-class motor control and are suitable for size- and cost-sensitive applications such as low-voltage fans and pump motors and vacuum cleaners.
CMS32M6526x: A dedicated SoC for 12-24V low voltage fan and pump motors
CMS32M6526x is a dedicated SoC for 12-24V low-voltage fan and pump motors, with built-in CMS32M6510 and power driver CMS6971, 5V LDO, bus voltage detection, FG open-drain output, PWM input compatible with TTL level. The highly integrated advantage is very suitable for fan and pump applications, such as floor fans, air purifiers, circulation fans, landscape pumps, booster pumps, circulation pumps, low voltage ceiling fans, shaking head fans, floor sweepers, cooling fans, etc.
The CMS32M6526x supports QFN24, SOP16, and SSOP24 packages. Benefiting from the CMS32M6510's excellent power consumption performance, the CMS32M6526x's temperature rise does not exceed 15℃ at full speed when the chip is in an SSOP24 package, making it suitable for more applications, such as 24V fans and pumps.
For the low-voltage fan and pump market, Cmsemicon provides support for the niche area as well as the upper computer auxiliary tool suite. This tool allows customers to perform motor debugging, modify motor parameters and operation parameters without programming, and quickly achieve mass production.
CMS32M6534: A dedicated SoC for the 3-10 series vacuum cleaner market
The CMS32M6534x is a dedicated SoC for the 3-10 series vacuum cleaner market with built-in CMS32M6510 and 200V full-N driver CMS6164 with 12V and 5V LDO, zero standby function, bus voltage detection, PWM speed control input compatible with TTL level, and excellent energy efficiency performance has become an ideal choice for lithium powered vacuum cleaner applications.
The CMS32M6534x supports the QFN40 package. With powerful arithmetic power with algorithm support under 64M main frequency operation, it can achieve ultra-high-speed, and its simple and compact motor control board design easily meets the requirements of a 180000RPM RPM full-function single-resistance FOC vacuum cleaner.
For the vacuum cleaner market, Cmsemicon introduces the Vacuum Cleaner Professional Assist Kit, which provides ready diagnostic data to evaluate motor control designs, facilitating improvements in process efficiency and reliability and accelerating development progress.
The CMS32M67 series for lightweight applications will be officially released in the third quarter of 2023. In addition, Cmsemicon is accelerating the construction of the motor drive ecosystem, and more products will be unveiled soon.
