Cmsemicon Passes ISO 26262 Automotive Functional Safety ASIL D Process Certification
China Micro Semicon (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Cmsemicon, stock code: 688380) received the ISO 26262:2018 Automotive Functional Safety ASIL D process certification from SGS, the world’s leading testing, inspection, and certification company, on January 29th at its headquarters in Shenzhen.
Zhou Yan, President of Cmsemicon, Li Zhenhua, Vice President and General Manager of the Industrial Automotive Business Unit, Xia Yu, Deputy General Manager of the Industrial Automotive Business Unit, and Zhou Hanming, Director of Knowledge and Management Services of SGS China for the regions of Shenzhen, Huizhou, and Jiangxi, were present at this awarding ceremony.
ISO 26262 is an international functional safety standard for the development of electrical and electronic systems in road vehicles. The certification’s approval signifies that Cmsemicon has established a complete development process for products that comply with the automotive functional safety ASIL D, demonstrating the capability to provide automotive chip products with high functional safety standards for global automotive industry customers.
