Phoenix Contact‘s’ New Generation of Axioline E Communication Modules Satisfy Both The Current and Future Requirements for Field Installation
Phoenix Contact is extending its portfolio of I/O systems for control-cabinet-free automation with the new generation of Axioline E communication modules. The devices satisfy both the current and future requirements for field installation.
Featuring a high IP65/IP67 degree of protection and a fully encapsulated zinc die-cast housing, the I/O modules are designed for direct use in a machine under harsh ambient conditions. The initial portfolio includes digital input and output devices and IO-Link masters as Profinet devices. All devices feature L-coded M12 connectors for the 2x16A power supply. In addition, a new IO-Link I/O box with eight digital inputs and eight digital outputs and a new IO-Link I/O box with four analog inputs for temperature sensors supplement the initial portfolio. All new generation modules enable flexible field wiring with proven M12 screw connectors or the new M12 push-pull fast-connection technology.
