Compact High-Sound Pressure Buzzers for IoT ＆ Alarm Systems
Recently household IoT devices on the market are gradually growing, besides the internet functions ...etc, it is also demand for a higher sound pressure level (SPL) and internal space requirement of the device, especially IoT device usually needs a modern design, so there must be looking for the small size of the component and also could meet the requirement of SPL.
Therefore, Kingstate designed a powerful component for these kinds of alarm systems, not only can use in IoT devices but also could use in other notify systems.
Traditional buzzers usually open the soundhole on the top, with this kind of design can efficiently have high SPL, but it also needs a big case to support it, KPEG137A30 series is the new design that could keep the SPL to support the smoke detector regulations (85dB(A) at 3M), and also reduced the volume about 60% (compare to the KPEG132H-30P).
According to the experience, most IoT or alarm systems are usually needed to put on the wall, ceiling, or desk. Recently some of the devices add a monitor on the top, and it is hard to put the traditional buzzer inside, and also need to avoid the monitor at the same time, so we change the soundhole to the side, the aim is to avoid the monitor or wall, this is an advantage of the KPEG137A30.
As customer's requirements, Kingstate also could provide the solutions of the circuit of the KPEG137A30 series.
