List of “Environment-related Substances to be Controlled (The Controlled Substances )" Certificate of Restricted and Reportable Materials
●In recent years we have seen an increase in environmental awareness, as well as policy changes targeting the preservation and reduction of impacts on the environment. It is our policy to conduct our worldwide operations in a manner that protects the environment while reducing the overall impacts to the environment. We are continuing to improve this through many activities such as implementing ISO 14001 and enforcing environmental standards throughout our global facilities.
●Suppliers to the worldwide market know that many countries have been imposing stricter regulations on environmentally hazardous substances. To better respond to these trends and to our environmental policy, Littelfuse will require clear information on restricted and/or controlled substances contained in our suppliers’ products. This document applies to restricted and/or controlled substances as specified by Littelfuse, Inc. These are:

■Heavy metals:Cadmium and cadmium compounds♦;Lead and lead compounds;Mercury and mercury compounds;Hexavalent chromium compounds
■Chlorinated organic compounds:Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB);Polychlorinated naphthalenes (PCN);Chlorinated paraffins (CP);Mirex (Perchlordecone);Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and PVC blends;Other chlorinated organic compounds
■Brominated organic compounds:Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB);Polybrominated diphenylethers (PBDE);Other brominated organic compounds
■Organic tin compounds (Tributyl tin compounds, Triphenyl tin compounds)
■Asbestos
■Azo compounds
■Formaldehyde
