【PCN】Littelfuse TE5 Series to Red Phosphorus Free Product Change Notification (LFPCN 010620)
With regards to the above reference, this is a 30-day PCN starting 1st June. Littelfuse will be expanding the roll-out of the conversion of the other TE5 fuse series fuses to Red Phosphorus free.
Affected Fuse series are as follows,-389, 396, 385, 391, 395, 397, 398, 390.
The same existing part number will be used/active. This will be a running change in production on 30th June 2020.
There are no changes to the electrical characteristics and performance as well as the physical dimensions as listed on the datasheet.
The only change being the Operating Temperature which will increase from the present“-40degC to 85degC” to “-40degC to 125degC” .The type of resin (polyamide) will remain unchanged.
For distinction between the existing and future Red-Phosphorus fuses, the fuse cap and housing color will change from existing“Red-Brown” to “Black”.
