●Capacitance Manometers are widely used in semiconductor production and other industry because of their ability to measure absolute pressure and for their immunity to contamination and corrosion. The 908A offers unprecedented flexibility, ease of operation and low cost.
●The 908A can deliver up to 0.75 amp to operate one or two heated or unheated manometers. Both manometers are maintained with power applied to permit the user to alternate between readings by pressing a front panel button. Pressure readings from either gauge are available on demand through the RS-232 serial port. The RS-232 port also allows reading the status of set points and other parameters of the 908A operation.
●The two process control set points allow setting of both upper and lower set point for each relay, giving the user complete control over the hysteresis of the controlled function. Either or both of the set points may be assigned to either manometer. The relays have isolated outputs and are rated at 240 VAC at 2 amps to allow direct control of small motors and actuators.
●The 908A uses an advanced power supply design, which operates on any input from 100 VAC to 240 VAC; also the 908A permits the user to select pressure units of Torr/mTorr or Bar/mBar, kTorr, or arb (arbitrary/no units), making it a universal instrument for international application. In addition, the 908A is CE marked for European applications.
