Model 900vs2 High Voltage Sensor Operating Manual

2022-06-13
● The best way to continuously monitor the operation of AC static eliminators is by verification of the high voltage output of the Power Unit. This is because static elimination equipment that becomes faulty (e.g.when it is dirty or damaged) will draw higher current from the Power Unit than normal and when the current drawn rises above 5mA, the 904 or 905 Power Unit will automatically shut down.
● (This is a safety feature unique to the Meech Model 904 / 905).The ON/OFF rocker switch of the 904 or 905 Power Unit illuminates when the unit is connected to the mains electricity supply. If the high voltage side of the 904 or 905 shuts down as indicated above, the rocker switch will remain illuminated (showing that the mains supply is still present) but the static elimination equipment may not be functional.
● The 900vs2 has been designed to detect such a condition and display / report this.
