PRODUCT CHANGE NOTIFICATION: RO3003™ laminates PTFE resin supplier change

●Over the past year, Rogers Corporation's Advanced Electronic Solutions has collaborated with multiple PTFE resin suppliers to enhance our supply chain resilience and ensure a sustained and reliable source of materials for our valued customers.
●During this same time, we have had a supplier exit the business which will lead to a PTFE supplier change for some RO3000® product line grades.
●Description of Change and Key Dates:
■Rogers will actively transition RO3003™ automotive revision laminate customers beginning February 2024. Samples of RO3003 laminates constructed using the new PTFE supplier are expected to be available in August 2023 from Rogers’ Suzhou China manufacturing facility with samples from Rogers’ Gent Belgium facility available in Q4, 2023.
●Rogers Corporation has tested all RO3000® laminates (manufactured using new suppliers PTFE resin) side by side with our existing RO3000® laminates (manufactured using current suppliers PTFE resin).
●Rogers Corporation internal qualifications evaluated the manufacturability, mechanical, and electrical properties of the PTFE resins used in our RO3000® laminates. Our analyses have shown that there are no significant differences between the properties of the resins. Please see the comparison reports below for more details.
●As always, we recommend that the suitability of a particular product for a specific application be determined by the user.
●A reasonable quantity of no-charge samples will be available should you choose to perform your own evaluations.
