EPC21701 – 80 V, 15 A eToF™ Stage Laser Driver
■The EPC21701 is a single chip laser driver taking a 3.3 V logic, high frequency input logic signal and generating a high current pulse to drive a laser. Integration is implemented using EPC's proprietary GaN IC technology.
■Wafer level chip-scale packaging is used resulting in a BGA form factor device that measures only 1.7 mm x 1 mm x 0.68 mm. The wafer level packaging is small, low inductance, and lays out very well with the laser system.
■The EPC21601 device uses a 5 VDD, and is capable of interfacing to digital controllers. It is capable of a switching frequency over 50 MHz.
●Features
■VLaser operating range up to 60 V
■Peak current up to 15 A
■Switching frequency greater than 50 MHz
■Voltage switching time less than 1ns
■Nominal 5 V power supply
■Input signal compatible with 3.3 V logic level down to 1.6 V
■2 ns minimum input pulse width
■2.9 ns delay time from input to output
