●SEAL DESIGN AND FUNCTION
■The Trelleborg 404 is a combined lip and compression sealing system that is positioned in the groove of corrugated pipe.
■Symmetrical by design, there is no chance of error when mounting the seal onto the pipe. The material and design allow for the lowest possible jointing force.
■Once jointed, the Trelleborg 404 will absorb any permissible variation in pipe geometry whilst maintaining a high sealing performance.
■The material chosen, EPDM vulcanized rubber, offers excellent resilience, strength and resistance to abrasion and materials present in wastewater. This makes it the perfect choice for non-pressure underground drainage and sewage systems.
■The Trelleborg 404 meets or exceeds current international standards.
