Archimedes Semiconductor: Provider of High-Performance SiC/IGBT Power Semiconductors for New Energy Vehicles and Photovoltaic Storage
Archimedes Semiconductor is headquartered in Hefei, specializing in SiC/IGBT chips and modules for new energy vehicles and photovoltaic energy storage and charging, committed to becoming a leader in power semiconductors in the dual carbon era in China. The core technical team of the company is led by an academician of the CAS Member, and the team members are from Infineon, Ansomy, Huawei, Vincotech, Mitsubishi and other domestic and foreign manufacturers. The company has completed a financing of over 400 million yuan, and the actual controllers of listed companies Sai Microelectronics (300456. SZ) and Shengbang Shares (300661. SZ), Zhang Shilong, Zhongyu Energy (03633. HK), Changjiang Innovation, and Hefei provincial, municipal, and district government investment platforms have jointly invested. The first phase of the company's factory is located in the Industrial Park at 789 Changning Avenue, High tech Zone, with a factory area of 7000 square meters. The second phase of the self built factory is located in Xiaweigang, with a land area of 80 acres. As of now, the company has completed mass production of two SiC/IGBT packaging and manufacturing lines, and there are two under construction. At present, we have the production and manufacturing capacity to produce 500000 car grade modules and 800000 optical storage modules per year. We are currently building a production line to produce 500000 SiC plastic packaging modules (including DCM, DSC, TPAK) per year. The company will continue to focus on the application and upgrading of power semiconductors in the new energy track, contributing to China's goal of achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality.
