Shindengen Begins Mass Production of D5CE4S High Current Schottky Barrier Diode in Thinner JEITA SC-110 Package (CE)
The trend towards higher performance and more advanced features in automobiles has resulted in a shift towards a high number of ECU components installed per unit as well as increased power consumption. This, in turn, has created greater demand for miniaturization of ECUs, and a greater demand for more compact, thinner components for large currents.
Shindengen company has now expanded Shindengen lineup with the 5A/40V high current Schottky barrier diode formerly provided in SC-63 packages (E pack) now available in the more compact, thinner SC-110 packages (CE) at 5 A/40 V.
In addition, it is a low VF type, providing a high level of reliability that can be guaranteed as a safety control component for vehicle applications.
Going forward, Shindengen planed to continue to develop a variety of products for the automobile market to better fulfill customer needs.
