Shindengen New 400V AC Input Voltage-compatible Converter Diode Modules Contribute to Downsizing and Improving the Reliability of Industrial Equipment

Shindengen Electric Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has launched the new MG038 Series diode modules for three-phase AC input rectifying circuits in industrial equipment. The 2 models added to the lineup are the MG038C and MG038D, which are 400V AC input voltage-compatible converter diode modules.


The industrial robot market continues to grow with increasing demand for semiconductors used for automotive electronic components and other various applications. Up until now, Shindengen has developed and sold 800V diode modules. Shindengen has added 1600V withstand voltage products to the lineup in response to growing needs for 400V input-compatible products in China, Europe, and other regions.


This product uses the same low-profile package as the 800V products, which is effective for downsizing. The products can also realize a shift to high breakdown voltage by achieving 1600A/2000A for IFSM as well. These features can contribute to downsizing and improved reliability for 400V input equipment.
