GRL Industrial Busbar System Promotes The Opening of Shanghai Metro Line 13
In the excavation project of the extension line of Shanghai Metro Line 13, GRL provided the electrical Busbar System for the electrical control cabinet of the CRRC shield machine.

CRRC is one of the world's largest and most technologically advanced rail transit equipment suppliers with 46 subsidiaries and 170,000 employees.
Target
The shield machine has high requirements on space, and there are many control loops in the industrial electrical cabinet. It is expected that a neat and compact industrial control cabinet will appear.
Customer Challenge
Compared with other high-end equipment, the shield machine has higher space requirements. However, there is little space left for the control panel cabinet on the fuselage. The design of the control cabinet is difficult and the circuit is complicated.
Solution
Our engineers use a 160 amp fuse switch as the main switch. Integrate MCB, terminal blocks and rectangular copper bars into the power control cabinet through the busbar distribution system.
Plan 1
GRL considered a 160 amp fuse switch as the main switch. Connect the MCB to the copper bar through the adapter, and use the soft copper bar to connect the upper and lower copper bars. Finally, the copper bar is sealed with an insulating protective cover to form a complete control cabinet AC unit.
Plan 2
The fuse is used as the main switch and the 10-amp fuse, 30-amp fuse, 13-amp fuse and other small current fuse holders are used as the shunt control switch.
Program advantages
The switchboard busbar design of the shield machine control cabinet has a compact structure, which can reduce the space occupied by the control cabinet. The unique convenient maintenance design of the busbar system ensures the ability to deal with emergencies during construction and greatly improves the excavation stability.
Achievement display
The third-phase project of Shanghai Metro Line 13 is excavated by GRL's 3-phase busbar panel as the shield machine of the key control cabinets, with a total length of 5.254 kilometers. It was opened in 2018.
