Shindengen KC8SF80 thyristor Has a Guaranteed Large Current and Rated Voltage of 800V and Tj = 150℃
Shindengen Electric Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku) has developed the [KC8SF80] Thyristor which has a guaranteed large current and rated voltage of 800V and Tj = 150℃.
1. Overview
Thyristors required in generators, industrial equipment, and other applications usually have a rated voltage of 800V but with only a guaranteed Tj up to 125℃. Products with a guaranteed Tj of 150℃ were only available for products with a 600V rated voltage.
In recent years there has been an increase in demand for guaranteed Tj = 150℃ for large current compatible 800V products, and in response Shindengen has developed the [KC8SF80] thyristor which is the industry's first 8A current, 800V rated voltage thyristor with a guaranteed Tj = 150℃.
Going forward, we plan to further expand Shindengen's current capacity lineup.
