Geehy’s G32A1445 Automotive General-Purpose MCU Certified by TÜV Rheinland for ISO 26262 ASIL-B
On May 16, 2024, Geehy’s G32A1445 Automotive General-Purpose MCU officially received the ISO 26262 ASIL-B functional safety certification from TÜV Rheinland.
The certification ceremony on May 15 saw the presence of prominent industry figures, including Mr. Zhao Bin, General Manager of Industrial Services and Information Security at TÜV Rheinland Greater China, Ms. Zhan Lilong, Assistant Key Account Manager at TÜV Rheinland, Mr. Wang Dongjie, General Manager of Geehy Semiconductor, Mr. Zeng Hao, Deputy General Manager, Dr. Huang Kai, Chief Scientist, Mr. Liao Zhen'ai, Director of the Automotive Electronics Chip Division, and Mr. Chen Huafeng, Operations Director at Hangzhou SEC-CHIP Technology.
TÜV Rheinland is renowned for its stringent process system and functional safety product certifications. The ISO 26262 ASIL-B certification confirms the G32A1445 MCU's reliability and advanced safety features, complying with ISO 26262:2018 standards, particularly in safety architecture design.
In September 2022, Geehy was the first domestic IC design company in the Greater Bay Area to achieve ISO 26262 ASIL-D certification. Leveraging robust R&D capabilities, Geehy obtained the ASIL-B certification for the G32A1445 series in less than two years. This MCU delivers critical safety resources, fault diagnostics, and encryption, meeting the standards of OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
G32A1445 MCU Dual-certified with Automotive-Grade AEC-Q100 and ISO 26262:2018 ASIL-B
The G32A1445 MCU features robust hardware protection and offers AUTOSAR MCAL software, third-party IDEs like IAR and Keil, and the EB Tresos Studio tool. This ensures a comprehensive software stack, toolchain, and system solutions for client projects.
The G32A1445 has been used by over 50 Tier 1 suppliers for module development and testing, reaching mass production in applications such as BMU, BCM, instrument control, entertainment systems, steering switches, smart cockpits, HVAC systems, T-BOX, LED car lights, seat controllers, and window controllers.
Expanding the G32A Product Line for Widespread Applications
Geehy is expanding the G32A series to meet the growing demand for intelligent driving applications. The upcoming G32A1465 series MCU, an upgraded iteration, features 1024KB Flash, enhanced performance, and more functional interfaces. It meets AEC-Q100 Grade 1 and ISO 26262 ASIL-B standards and includes low-power operation and stop modes. This MCU comes with production-level software and development tools to accelerate automotive application development.
