Geehy Semiconductor announced the APM32A full series automotive-grade MCUs with high-performance CPU, enhanced storage, and rich connectivity to effectively meet the development needs of automotive electronics for diverse communications and body control applications. It can be widely used in body control, safety systems, infotainment systems, and power systems.

 

The APM32A full series includes three major product lines: APM32A407, APM32A103, and APM32A091, with a total of 6 models covering Arm® Cortex®-M0+/M3/M4 cores, further expanding the product lineup of automotive-grade MCUs. The whole series has been certified the AEC-Q100 Grade 1 and Grade 2. Its operating temperature covers -40℃~125℃, meeting the reliability requirement of automotive chips and helping customers to develop more stable and reliable products.

 

High-performance APM32A407 Series Supports Efficient Computing for Automobiles

Based on the Arm® Cortex®-M4 core with an FPU, the APM32A407 series automotive-grade MCUs come with features of large capacity, high performance, and high security, providing excellent computing performance and advanced system interrupt and meeting the needs of automobiles' real-time and efficient computing requirements. The integrated Ethernet, USB_OTG, and rich analog peripherals are highly suitable for diversified body control and connectivity development needs, such as vehicle navigation, charging piles, lights, vehicle instruments, and OBC.

Based on the Arm® Cortex®-M3 core with an FPU and a CRC unit, the APM32A103 series automotive-grade MCUs come with features of high integration, low power consumption, and high reliability. In addition to conventional peripherals, it supports automotive LIN and CAN communication interfaces. With rich interfaces and flexible configuration, the APM32A103 series is suitable for many different vehicle scenarios, realizing comprehensive design optimization and upgrade and providing excellent development experience for engineers. This series can be widely used in reversing radar, body domain controllers, BMS battery management, central control system, electric tailgate, ambient light, and other fields.

Cost-effective APM32A091 Series Offer More Options for Complex Applications

Based on the Arm® Cortex®-M0+ core, the APM32A091 series automotive-grade MCUs come with features of low-cost, low-power consumption, and high integration. With two built-in fast programmable analog comparators, newly added HDMI CEC, and 18 TSC capacitive sensing channels, users do not need to add a dedicated touch chip for proximity, touch keys, linear or rotary sensors to accurately identify touch input commands in automotive use. It can apply to EDR, vehicle AV equipment, vehicle diagnostic instruments, window lifters, and other scenarios.

The first-generation APM32A series automotive-grade MCUs mark Geehy has achieved a breakthrough in the automotive industry from a single point to system layout, which has been mass-produced and verified in multiple projects in the early stage. The next-generation G32A series automotive-grade MCUs with ISO 26262 certification are also under planning and are expected to be launched this year.
