HOSIDEN has developed the “CMS1953board-mounted coaxial receptacle connector for in-vehicle equipment. Intended for use in transmission applications for in-vehicle high-speed serial interfaces, for which demand has been rapidly growing, the “CMS1953” ensures a broader frequency range and improved EMC shielding compared to conventional coaxial connectors used for analog signals. Hosiden’s unique mating design is robust with a sure fit that meets the requirements of almost all automobile manufacturers. It can be connected to the “HPC1152” compact relay plug, the smallest-class plug in the industry, which can be passed through a 10.5mm diameter hole and is already being mass-produced for many camera systems. The “CMS1953” will surely contribute to the improvement of cable routing. Five types of key variations are available for the use of multiple systems, such as integrated ECU and omnidirectional camera systems.

The size is 11.2 mm x 9.5 mm x 17.7 mm (on-board, height x width x depth). A hybrid-type mounting method is used on the board to maintain both the transmission characteristics and mounting integrity: SMT for signal terminals and through-hole reflow for shield terminals. Recommended mask patterns can be provided as well. The operating temperature range is -40℃ to 105℃.
