High-performance MEMS Microphone Unit KRM5400/5403-010010 of Hosiden Characterizes Industry-leading High SNR and Low THD
HOSIDEN has developed a High-performance MEMS Microphone Unit KRM5400/5403-010010 for the smartphone and headphone markets.
Compared to our conventional products, we have greatly improved the SNR (sound-to-noise ratio) and response at low-frequencies with no compromise to the low THD (total harmonic distortion) characteristics. Achieving a flat response in the low frequency band allows effective recording of low-pitched sounds, which can be also leveraged for the noise cancelling in this region.
This module’s SNR and THD characteristics are now at an industry-leading level. There is also an energy-saving selectable low power consumption mode.
