Hosiden‘s Connector-integrated Acceleration Sensor HHM2003-010010 for Automotive Use Supports A2B Digital Communication
Motor vehicles are being equipped with functions for realizing a more comfortable and quieter passenger compartment, including Active Noise Cancelling or Road Noise Cancelling functions. To articulate such functions, a system sensing vibration with acceleration sensors, to augment microphone sensed audio signals, has been developed.
For road noise sensing, HOSIDEN has developed the Connector-integrated A2B Acceleration Sensor HHM2003-010010 for Automotive Use which embeds a device supporting A2B (Automotive Audio Bus) digital communication into a connector, so requiring minimal wiring and therefore minimized harness weight. As the device is expected to be located in a harsh environment near the vehicle’s drive shafts, the device enclosure includes its connector, to ensure watertight operation and durability.
