HOSIDEN has developed a “floating type coaxial connector, CMS2392 (rear enclosure assembly), CMS2220 (receptacle)” which supports high-speed digital signals for in-vehicle cameras.


Due to the receptacle and rear enclosure assembly being mated during the camera module assembly process, we have realized a design that can tolerate up to 0.5mm positional deviation in all directions (x, y, z) as well as up to 1.5-degree angular deviation.


A unique shield contact design minimizes degradation of the transmission characteristics and EMC characteristics, therefore even when connected with the maximum alignment deviation, the high-speed signal transmission (6Gbps) supporting next-generation SER/DES (SERializer/DESerializer) is still practical.


The singular structure includes a packing seal to ensure a waterproof seal, with the connector on the signal output side conforming to ISO20860, and which can be fitted with FAKRA connectors. With its smaller number of parts and diminutive size, this coaxial connector was designed with SDGs in mind. The materials and shape of the rear enclosure can be customized on request.
