3PEAK Achieves ISO 26262:2018 ASIL D Process Certification, the Highest Level of Automotive Functional Safety
Recently, 3PEAK received the ISO 26262:2018 ASIL D process certification, the highest level of automotive functional safety, from SGS, an internationally recognized testing, inspection, and certification organization.
The certification ceremony was attended by 3PEAK Chairman, Mr. ZHIXU ZHOU, and Mr. ZHENG Zheng, Product Line Director of the Functional Safety Center at SGS China, among other representatives from both parties. This marks the establishment of 3PEAK's product development and management process system that fully complies with the highest level of automotive functional safety, ASIL D, as required by the ISO 26262:2018 standard. It reflects 3PEAK's high standards and pursuit of quality in the development of automotive-grade chips.
ISO 26262 – ASIL
ISO 26262 is an internationally authoritative Standard for Automotive Functional Safety, serving as one of the access thresholds for global electronic component suppliers to enter the automotive industry. The standard covers the planning, design, implementation, integration, verification, confirmation, configuration, and other aspects spanning the entire lifecycle of products in terms of functional safety requirements.ASIL (Automotive Safety Integration Level) is a classification system based on the ISO 26262 standard, consisting of four levels from low to high: A, B, C, and D. The higher the level, the more rigorous the development process. The establishment of a functional safety process system is a fundamental requirement for compliance with functional safety standards.
3PEAK, based on its internally comprehensive automotive quality management system and leading product design verification capabilities, prioritizes quality and functional safety. The company has built a complete automotive functional safety process system.Under the guidance of experts from the SGS Functional Safety Center, 3PEAK strictly adheres to the requirements of the ISO 26262:2018 standard.
