Yint Provides 220V 10KA Surge Protection Solution
As the name suggests, a surge is an instantaneous overvoltage that exceeds the normal operating voltage. Its sources are divided into external sources (overvoltage generated on power lines by lightning and switching operations in the power grid) and internal sources (air conditioners, elevators, welding machines, air compressors, and Other inductive loads). According to statistics, in the United States: Direct losses caused by power surges to various industries such as shutdowns, time losses, equipment repairs, and premature replacement of equipment are as high as 26 billion U.S. dollars every year. In China, according to relevant statistics, 63% of electrical products that have problems during the warranty period are due to power surges. Based on the surge (impact) immunity test of GB/T17626.5 IEC61000-4-5, YINT provides a 220V power supply 10KA surge protection solution for your reference.

If during the test, the residual voltage of the surge is too high, causing damage to the equipment under test, you can add a level of protection behind the common mode coil (within the red dotted line). The selection of the device can be the same as the previous level, or you can choose Slightly smaller pressure-sensitive and gas discharge tubes used to save costs.
