Xinyun Tech Launched 100% Home-made 4x25/28G LR4 Turnkey Solution, with Conservative Power Consumption of Only 3W and Extinction Ratio above 6dB

As a leading supplier of one-stop solutions for high-speed optical modules, Hangzhou Xinyun Technology Co., Ltd., together with a domestic optical communication laser company (hereinafter referred to as "the partner"), solemnly released the overall solution for the national production of 4x25/28G LR4 (hereinafter referred to as "100G LR4 overall solution" or "the solution"). The scheme is based on the series of high-speed electrical chips (CDR, TIA, Driver) developed by Xinyun Tech and the partner's self-developed laser (LWDM DFB LD). All core chips and lasers have been mass-produced and adopted by some mainstream optical module manufacturers in China. The launch of this plan is a major achievement made by Xinyun Tech(XY TECH) in filling the gap in the domestic market, promoting the key technologies of high-speed optical communication semiconductor laser chips, high-speed electrical chips, and devices, and promoting the industrialization of these core technologies.


With the frequent escalation of international trade frictions faced by China in the high-tech field, various national chip localization industry support policies have been issued in time and gradually increased support. The process of high-speed optical communication chips and device localization is also accelerating. In order to fully meet the market demand of import substitution, on the basis of comprehensively sorting out the pain points of the existing solutions, Xinyun Tech and the partner worked together to complement each other's advantages, promote the localization substitution and performance upgrading of the solutions, and finally formed the 100% localization, autonomous and controllable 4x25/28G LR4 overall solution.

The 100G LR4 is the sincere work of Xinyun Tech to fully respond to the diversified market demands, further optimize the comprehensive performance of products, and enable multiple application scenarios in the whole industry. The advantages and characteristics of this scheme are mainly as follows:


*Better sensitivity:

The measured index of the scheme fully meets the requirements of the IEEE802.3ba protocol, and the receiver sensitivity index can achieve more than a 3dB margin( -11.6 dBm@1e-12 OMA). PIN ROSA integrated with XY5324 TIA, combined with XY5124 CDR sensitivity full temperature guarantee - 11.6 dBm, with a typical value of - 12.5 dBm, is superior to the performance of the current mainstream international large factory solutions in the industry.


*Dual rate flexible application:

Based on the partner's 25G LR4 DFB LD and Xinyun XY5224D DRV and XY5124 CDR schemes, the transmitter can meet 25G and 28G dual-rate applications, and the transmitter eye chart performance is excellent. Among them, Xinyun 4CH DML driver XY5224DD, together with the partner DFB laser, based on the LR4 test template, the extinction ratio ER can achieve a performance of more than 6dB, and the margin of the full temperature range (- 40℃~85℃) of the dual-rate eye graph Mask Margin is more than 20%.


*Support customized design:

The scheme supports the customer's customized transmission distance of 20km and E-temp (extended temperature) requirements.


*High reliability:

The scheme is an air-tight packaging design, which can fully meet the reliability requirements of telecom grade double 85.


*Excellent power consumption performance:

The typical value of conservative power consumption of the whole solution can reach 3W (internal test data, achieving industry breakthroughs), surpassing the industry level in power consumption reduction and performing well.


*Flexible and extensive application:

The low-power design of this scheme can also be applied to data center applications and has a wide range of applications.


High-performance national production, and work with partners to achieve flexible and independent control of the overall plan

In this scheme, the independent self-developed chip of Sunrise Optoelectronics includes a 4CH DML Driver (XY5224DD-BT), a 4CH CDR (XY5124), and a 4CH Limiting TIA (XY5324-BT7). 1. XY5124 4xx25G/28G CDR eye chart performance, excellent bandwidth characteristics and up to 1.1V output swing, more than 7dB to accentuate De-emphasis, and compensate board-level frequency response insertion loss.

2. XY5124  with 100G ROSA has achieved the industry's excellent input sensitivity of 10mVpp level, up to 12dB CTLE to compensate for board-level input frequency response insertion loss, and achieved 0.5dB tuning accuracy. It has reached the industry's breakthrough in power consumption, locking time, and VCO automatic tracking. At the same time, it also realizes one chip for receiving and sending, which improves the convenience and efficiency of material management.
