Invisible Perimeter Security System, Using High-performance Single-point Long-range LiDAR Sensors
With the development of the economy, people's safety consciousness is gradually improving. In order to solve the problems of property loss and personnel security caused by intrusion, theft, and destruction, the demand for perimeter security has gradually increased in various industries. Perimeter security can be divided into two categories: visible and invisible. Nowadays, the visible is gradually replaced by the invisible, because it can’t give an alarm in time and is easy to be destroyed. BENEWAKE designed an invisible perimeter security system, using high-performance single-point long-range LiDAR sensors and cameras or alarms. The system can detect and locate intruders, sound the alarm immediately and trigger related security work all day long and 7 days a week.

1. System description
1. Long-distance intrusion detection: LiDAR provide all-time detection at any point of the whole course.
2. Locating intrusion: Once there is a threatening intrusion, the system can locate the occurrence point with the distance information detected by LiDAR in real-time, making it easy for security personal to take effective measures to the intruder precisely and timely.

Compared with traditional electric sensor or fence, LiDAR has the following technological advantages:
It's small in size, light in weight, and has excellent reliability and stability.
As a passive device, its power consumption is very low, which will greatly lower the system’s cost.
LiDAR can resist electromagnetic interference and corrosion, making it able to work in hostile chemical and field environments.
It's nonradiative, without flammable and explosive materials.
3. Application scenarios
The system is suitable for any important places, such as airports, high-end villas, private islands, fishing grounds, power stations, nuclear power stations, prisons, and so on.
