R101 (130/180 SERIES): MEDIUM PRESSURE AEROSPACE HOSE ASSEMBLY

The document introduces a medium pressure aerospace hose assembly that complies with AS1946 and MIL-DTL-25579 standards. The hose is made of extruded smooth inner core PTFE, using SAE AS1946 reinforced CRES 304 wire braided layer, sizes -03 to -12, and MIL-DTL-25579 double (Z) braided layer, sizes -16 to -24. The operating pressure range is from 1500 PSI (104 MIL-DTL-27267 Bar) for small diameter to 1000 PSI (69 Bar) for maximum diameter. The PTFE braided layer provides excellent chemical resistance, temperature range from -65ºF to +450ºF (-54ºC to +232ºC), with unlimited shelf life. Standard fittings are CRES (Class I) or aluminum (Class II). Fire protection that complies with AS1055 Class A & B can be achieved through SAE AS1946, MIL-DTL-25579, RM/RF integral or sleeve AS1072 fire sleeves. Various integral or sleeve material wear sleeves are available. A combination of flexible hose and multi-bend hose assemblies is a Titeflex specialty product, providing improved vibration damping, easy installation and maintenance.
