The Model 1212 current preamplifier is a low-cost, general-purpose benchtop instrument designed for high-performance detection of small AC and DC currents. It features a virtual ground input to minimize high-frequency roll-off due to input cables and stray capacitance, and a zero input impedance for linear operation of photodiode detectors over a wide dynamic range. The 1212 is optimized for wide bandwidth consistent with standard lock-ins and can operate directly from an AC power line or internal batteries. It offers a low noise configuration, a 600 Ω front panel output BNC, and a variety of specifications including sensitivity, gain accuracy, power consumption, and dimensions.
