The FBG-Scan 80X is a dynamic, precise measurement device for Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) sensors based on spectrometer technology. It offers a cost-effective solution and is available in 1, 4, or 8 channel configurations. The system can monitor up to 40 sensors per optical channel with sampling rates of 2kHz, 500Hz, or 250Hz. It features a wavelength stability of 1pm at full measurement speed and an absolute End Of Life wavelength accuracy of 40pm. The device comes with the "ILLumiSense" software for data visualization and processing, converting FBG wavelengths into engineered data like temperature and strain values.
