The SGK-01 Strain Gage Installation Kit is designed for the installation of fiber optic strain gages SG-01 and the fiber optic strain gage chain SGC-01. It includes all necessary parts and accessories for installation, using a patented process with a reusable mounting tool called a sensor pad. The kit supports installation with two adhesives: UV-curable and cyano-acrylate based rapid curing adhesive. It also includes additional sensors and tools for temperature compensation and multiplexing configurations. The kit is suitable for field use and offers features like fatigue resistance, high lifetime under strain, and ruggedized casing.
