MCF-028 Series MIL-COTS DC/DC Front-End Filters for Defense and Industrial Applications
●The MCF series features active input over-voltage protection, clamping over-voltages for up to 50ms to a safe level of 40V, and absorbing +/-250V spikes. With additional MLCCs, the internal EMI filter meets MIL-STD 461G limits. It also includes various active protection functions for advanced protection of the DC/DC converter module.
●The MCF filter module is fully integrated and complies with MIL-STD 1275E, MIL-STD 461G, EN 50155, RIA 12, and NF F 01-510 standards. It reduces design time, saves system space, and provides comprehensive system protection. The MCF filters also meet environmental MIL-STD 810F specifications for shock and vibration and have an operating temperature range of -40°C to 105°C (optionally -55°C).
●Designed for military and rolling stock applications, the MCF modules, when used with P-Duke COTS DC/DC converters, offer significant cost savings compared to traditional military DC/DC converters in the power range of up to 250W.
