Statement on the implementation of the WEEE-directive
■Directive 2002/96/EC of 27 January 2003 on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and the Ordinance on Waste Avoidance, Collection and Treatment of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EAG-VO) of 30 April 2005 require manufacturers to label electrical and electronic equipment:
■TELE implements these requirements as follows:
▲TELE is registered as a manufacturer with ERA - Elektro Recycling Austria GmbH under contract number 51805.
▲Our devices are marked with the symbol "crossed-out wheeled garbage can" according to Annex 4; BGBl. I No. 155/2004.
▲Since our equipment is exclusively delivered to B2B sectors, the customer remains responsible for its disposal.
▲Since we do not deliver directly to end customers outside of our country, we are registered as a manufacturer in Austria only. Our partners, who act as importers and thus as manufacturers in the sense of the directive, are responsible for registration in all other EU countries.
■We hope to hereby have answered your inquiry to your satisfaction. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
